If Clarity opens directly to sign in
An older home-screen shortcut can preserve the page that was open when the shortcut was created. If your icon opens the sign-in page instead of the public homepage, remove that old shortcut, open claritybookscentral.com directly in your browser, confirm the homepage is showing, and add Clarity to your home screen again.

You still need an internet connection to load authenticated customer data. Receipt photos are sent to Clarity's private cloud storage after you choose to upload them.
