These Terms govern access to and use of Clarity Books Central. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Clarity Books Central provides bookkeeping workflow software, including transaction classification, reconciliation support, document organization, Book Health monitoring, exception handling, and related onboarding and support features.

AI-assisted bookkeeping

The service uses automated systems to perform routine bookkeeping tasks within defined guardrails. Automated results may require review, correction, or additional evidence. Stage 4 items are intended for human judgment rather than automatic resolution.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate information, reviewing outputs that require your attention, maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and ensuring that you have the right to upload any data or documents you provide to the service.

No money movement

Version 1 does not initiate, authorize, or execute transfers of customer funds. Clarity Books Central is not a bank, payment processor, money transmitter, or custodial service.

No tax, legal, or investment advice

Clarity Books Central does not prepare tax returns or provide personalized tax, legal, or investment advice. You remain responsible for obtaining professional advice when needed and for all filings, payments, and business decisions.

Subscriptions and fees

Any paid subscription, onboarding fee, trial, or promotional offer will be presented to you before a charge is made. Joining the early-access list does not create a paid subscription. Additional billing terms may be shown at checkout when paid billing is enabled.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to violate law, infringe the rights of others, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious content, interfere with service operation, circumvent security controls, or use the platform for fraudulent activity.

Availability and changes

We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features as the service evolves. Early-access functionality may change more frequently than mature production features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Customer data

You retain responsibility for the business information and documents you provide. You grant Clarity Books Central the limited rights necessary to host, process, secure, and use that information to provide the service.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as available" basis. Clarity Books Central is not responsible for business decisions made without appropriate review of your books or professional advice. Any limitation of liability that applies to a paid commercial relationship should be confirmed in the final customer agreement before broad paid launch.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for security risks, misuse, nonpayment once billing is active, or material violation of these Terms.
